How long can I keep a skip for?
When booking a skip, it is understandable that you will want to know how long you can keep a skip for. Our standard booking period is for 2 weeks, but we try to be as flexible to accommodate all Proskips customers where required.

The best way to think of skip hire duration is up to 14 days unless otherwise notified. Many projects will be carried out over the weekends and so we regularly deliver skips on a Friday as an example and collect the filled container on Monday.
If you would like to keep a skip for more than 2 weeks, please advise us of your specific requirements during your initial booking, or phone the office on 0208 879 9892 if your circumstances have changed.
Everything is possible and we regularly complete same day skip hire which means we deliver the skip first thing on any given day and collect the skip container that afternoon.
The only time we automatically collect a skip is when there is a licenced associated with the booking. If the skip is placed on a public road or highway we are required by the borough to collect the container on the final day of the permit. Fines are charged by the borough if the skip remains on the road which can be upwards of £1000 so it is imperative, we remove containers on the last day.
The Proskips team are here to help and we will always do our best to assist and meet your request whenever possible.
