4. Where Can You Put the Skip?

  • Private land → licence not required.
  • Skips cannot be placed on Red Routes or double yellow lines without special permission.
5. Safety Requirements

  • Skip shall not exceed 5 m × 2 m when on the carriageway; must be marked/guarded/lit; no hazardous materials; no overfill.
6. Permit Enforcement

Use without licence is offence under Highways Act; skip must be removed if conditions not met.
