How Skip Permits Work in Redbridge

- Renewal/alteration for 14 days: £175.00.
- If skip is parked in a bay it is £61.60 per bay per day + £61.60 Admin Fee

4. Where Can You Put the Skip?
- On public highway → licence required.
- On private land → no licence.
5. Safety Requirements
- The licence conditions include ensuring safe placement, lighting, marking, no obstruction.
6. Permit Enforcement
- Skip companies found without valid licence face removal of skip and enforcement action by Redbridge Council.
7. How Long Does Approval Take?
- Notice: at least 7 days’ advance notice required for new licence + 5 working days for renewal
- Bay Suspension – 5 working days
